The open book dump trolley is a spring-loaded return trolley designed to be positioned underneath the return chute. Its included casters make it easy to move around the library.
When books are placed into the trolley, the spring-loaded shelf lowers under their weight and then returns to the top once library staff empty the trolley to check the books back in.
